7 Celebrity Car Collections You Have to See to Believe

Celebrities get to live many of our dreams, including collecting some of the most amazing vintage, modern, and classic cars.

We’ve rounded up some of the most astounding collections.

50 Cent

Rapper 50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, has about 30 million album sales in his 2-decade career. The one luxury he can’t stop buying, he said? Cars. “I’m running out of places to park them,” he joked in 2019.

50 Cent loves a fast and flashy car, like his Rolls-Royce Drophead convertible with an iridescent silver sheen, a Ferrari FF, a Maserati MC 12, and a custom-made, one-of-a-kind Parker Brothers Concept car he dubbed White Lightning.

Dax Shepherd

Dax Shepherd is the modern king of offroading. The “CHIPS” star and podcast host loves anything with a motor.

The husband and father of 2 has a soft spot for off-roading, but also knows quality machinery when he sees it. Instead of opting for a hot rod, he drives a 1994 Buick Roadmaster station wagon for the high horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged crate engine he swapped for the original, and anti-roll bars — for the family.

His “woodgrain station wagon NASCAR,” as he lovingly calls it, is capable of zero to 60 mph in just 4 seconds flat. "If you've got two young kids...you want to get out of that car as quick as possible," he said on Conan.

Lady Gaga

The latest princess of pop isn’t just a showoff on stage, but she’s got plenty of showstoppers on the road, too. Lady Gaga has been building her collection for a few years and has dozens of vehicles worth talking about.

The pop star has been regularly seen in her black Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Lambroghini Huracán, or a semi-restored vintage blue Ford Bronco truck.

She even reportedly fell in love with the iconic yellow P-Wagon Uma Thurman drives in Kill Bill, but director Quentin Tarantino loved it too much to let it get away.

Elton John

Across the pond, Sir Elton John knows more about keys than just pianos. The superstar loves classic cars, and auctioned off 20 of them in 2001 for about $2M total. But he kept 8 he just couldn’t part with.

In the last 20 years, John has sold a 2005 Maserati Quattroporte V, a ultra classic 1956 Bentley S1 Continental Sport Saloon, a 1997 Aston Martin V8 Vantage 550, and a 1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III.

Jay Leno

Jay Leno may have one of the most impressive amateur car collections. The former talk show host has more than 1,600 vehicles in his expansive collection, ranging a pre-1900 steam car to some modern day marvels!

Leno loves cars and his passion has led him to collect not only the fastest and most powerful machines, but cool cars and culturally significant models. Leno himself is worth about $400 million, but his cars alone total $52 million.

Of all the cars in Leno’s collection, he favors a 1994 McLaren F1. He bought it for a mere $800,000, but now it’s worth about $12 million. And, according to CNN, it's the first car Leno would save in case of a fire.

Robert Downey Jr.

The real-life Tony Stark is just as in love with cars as his movie counterpart. Actor Robert Downey Jr. is focused on the coolest of cars, boasting a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette, an Audi E-Tron GT Concept car, and a super-rare Fisker Karma hybrid.

He even bought Captain America: Civil War co-star Chris Evans a custom 1960s Camaro that he envisioned the superhero would drive.

Dwayne Johnson

Here’s what The Rock is driving! Fast and Furious series star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a fan of classic muscle cars and big trucks with tons of towing power.

His main vehicle is a standard Ford F-150 with a lifted suspension that’s highly customized and ideal for his tall stature.

Johnson also boasts a Pagani Huayra in his collection, which is one of the most exotic and expensive sports cars on the planet. This $1.3M coupe is a struggle for the Rock to get into but he had no trouble bringing it to the premiere for HBO’s Ballers.

Johnson also owns a Ferrari LaFerrari, a 1971 Chevy Chevelle, and a Plymouth Prowler. Maybe next year, Dwanta will bring us a Range Rover, too.
